At St. Mary’s, outreach has always been important to who we are as a community of faith.  Miracle Kitchen, B-SAFE, school backpack drives and making pies at Thanksgiving are all great examples of the continuing outreach  work we do here at St. Mary’s.  As a vestry, we recognize the importance of outreach to our relationship with God and each other and have a “New Initiatives” fund in our budget for expanded outreach initiatives. MARY’S SUNDAY, OCTOBER 23 On Sunday, October 23rd St. Mary’s will host a book drive to benefit More Than Words. More Than Words is a nonprofit social enterprise that empowers youth who are in the foster care system, court involved, homeless, or out of school to take charge of their lives by taking charge of a business. By training young people to work in all aspects of the book business
