Backpack and School Supply Drive Begins!

This summer St. Mary’s begins a new initiative to partner with our neighbors at the New Falls Apartments.

Our first project is a backpack and school supply drive. There are many ways to help. On the new James 2:8 initiative bulletin board outside the parish hall you can pick up a tag with the name and gender of a child and return it attached to a new backpack. We are also conducting a drive for school materials that the children will fill the backpacks with before school starts. We’ll be collecting until Sunday, August 24th , so there is plenty of time to shop the sales and look for great deals!
