Event for Middle School Youth on September 26

A note from Isabel Philips:
We at St. Mary’s know that your middle school aged children are busy, but want to make you aware that the Charles River Deanery Youth Collaborative is planning another great year of events for kids in 6th/7th/8th grades. St. Mary’s has been invited to participate in as many or few of these events as you would like.
The first of the five events is on Saturday, September 26th, and St. Mary’s is our starting point! A chartered bus will leave from St. Mary’s parking lot at 8:30 am and return by 5:30 pm. We will be taking a field trip to the Barbara Harris Camp to share a Eucharist and experience the excitement and team building of doing a Low Ropes Course. Please let your middle schooler know that we would love his/her company on this trip. I will be travelling with them for the day (although with a bum shoulder I don’t know how much rope-climbing I will personally accomplish!) I have never been to the Barbara Harris Camp but hear that it is absolutely beautiful in the fall.
Any parents/adults who wish to accompany us are welcome, but not required to come along.

All your child needs to bring is the attached and signed permission slip (download below), $15.00, and a bag lunch. Snacks will be provided by St. Mary’s.
