In the past 6 months the U.S. Military has flown women from Haiti to the Boston area who are pregnant with “high risk” pregnancies, diabetes, high blood pressure, or having multiples. Haiti does not have the medical infrastructure to care for these women, especially since the devastating earthquake. They are being seen at Boston Medical Center & St. Elizabeth Hospital. The women are staying with other Haitian families scattered throughout the Boston metropolitan area. They came with nothing and the families they are staying with have very little. Over the summer calls started coming into an agency “Pregnancy Help” where I volunteer. We provide baby clothes & supplies for families in need.

The need we cannot meet is for MATERNITY CLOTHES & WINTER JACKETS/COATS. We need help. Please before you rid your closet of any of these items, call me (or call Elisabeth Comer 781-772-2220) and I will come collect anything you have to give away.

Thank You!
