Noah Bullock, Executive Director of Cristosal (the Anglican Foundation for the U.S. and El Salvador), will host a meeting at St. Mary’s on Saturday evening, June 26 at 7:30 PM. At this meeting Noah will talk about his work in El Salvador and specifically a new North American initiative to organize and cultivate an active support base of people who have a passion for mission work, for El Salvador and for engaging more directly in mutually beneficial relationships. This meeting is informational only and is open to the Diocese and any others interested in supporting this work, including members of St. Mary’s.
At this point in our transition, the Outreach Committee and Vestry feel it is prudent to defer all outreach funding decisions until George Stevens is in place as our new Rector. Over the summer these groups expect to develop a shared philosophy and strategy reflecting George’s perspective as well as St. Mary’s. We will keep the parish informed about these discussions and decisions.
