United Way Café Outreach

iabodeely

Last December the Salvation Army, Framingham sold its building and the Miracle Kitchen closed. There is still a need for meals in Framingham. As a result, the Salvation Army and the United Way have combined their programs and formed a café that serves meals five nights per week. The Café requires 21 volunteers per night. We are working with other groups to meet this important need. We need 4 people each month to serve the meal on the first Thursday of the month at the United Way Café, 46 Park Street, Framingham. The hours are from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. I hope you will consider volunteering. Without your help, St. Mary’s would not be able to do this much-needed service in the community. Please contact Denise in the office (617-527-4769 or denise@st-marys-episcopal.org)  if you would like to volunteer.
