Junior Choir Recognition and Babson Night Sunday, May 19
Junior Choir Recognition and Babson Night
Sunday, May 19
On Sunday, May 19 we will recognize the members of the Junior Choir during the 10:00 a.m. service. The singers wear crosses with colored ribbons signifying their years of membership in the choir. On “Step-up Sunday” we thank them for their commitment and dedication to the choir, and we “step them up” to the next year of membership by presenting them with a new ribbon. During the service the Junior Choir will share their Babson Night contribution titled “Pentecost Fire.”
That afternoon at 4:00 p.m., the Junior Choir will participate in the Babson Night program with young people from the other religious institutions in Wellesley. The Grace Knight Babson Fund was created to encourage Biblical memorization and support religious education in the Wellesley area. This program is open to the public and will be held at Knight Auditorium on the Babson College campus. Following the program the Junior Choir will celebrate the year with a pizza party for singers and their families.
Congratulations to the members of the Junior Choir: Madeleine Coles, Rowan de Peyster, John LaViolette, Jake Lawton, Julia Lawton, Annie Leonard, Nicholas Pyzowski, Adair Smyth, Fletcher Smyth, Harper Smyth, Amelia Tucker, Frances Tucker and Carly Woll.
