Lenten Education Opportunities For each of the Sundays in Lent, our Assisting Priest, The Rev. Bruce Jacobson will be offering education opportunities following the 10:00 a.m. service.
Sunday, March 5 The topic will be the role of the Old Testament in our faith. Looking at our Catechism and the Articles of Religion, Bruce will lead a lively discussion on the Hebrew Scriptures.
Sunday, March 12 The Rev. Bruce Jacobson and The Rev. George Stevens will lead a discussion entitled: Anything you ever wanted to ask a priest,’ Come prepared to ‘stump a priest’ with questions you’ve always wanted to ask about the prayer book, the church or scripture.
March 19 & March 26 and April 2 The education series will include a History of Holy week, discussion of the Propers for the Mass (in preparation for the Special Music Sunday) and the hymnody of Lent.
