Ash Wednesday – February 18

Each year we mark the beginning of the penitent season of Lent with the imposition of ashes. This year we will have two services: 9:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. These quiet services provide an invitation to a Holy Lent. I invite you

to consider joining us for these beautiful worship opportunities.

First Sunday of Lent – February 22

On Sunday, February 22nd, former rector, Peter Chase, will celebrate and preach at both the 8:00 and 10:00 services. This service includes the Great Litany and a new setting of the Sanctus and Kyrie that we will be using for the Lenten Season.

Shrove Tuesday + 7 – February 24

Traditionally, the day before Lent begins (Shrove Tuesday) is set aside for a celebration of feasting on pancakes and revelry. This year, due to school vacation, we’ve ‘transferred’ the feast to Tuesday, February 24. The celebration begins in the Parish Hall at 6:00 p.m. and will provide fun and fellowship for parishioners of all ages.

Evensong with Magnificat Boston – February 28

Saturday, February 28 at 5:00 p.m. members of our choir will be joined for a service of Evensong by Magnificat Boston, a group led by former Choir Director, Louise Mundinger. Please make plans to attend and invite your friends. Childcare and dinner will be provided.
