Saint Mary’s Calendar for Week of November 6

St. Mary’s visits the Greater Boston Food Bank on Saturday, October 29

Dear Friends,

Last weekend’s trip to the Greater Boston Food Bank was a huge success. Amazingly, in just three hours, the volunteers from St. Mary’s sorted 12,674 pounds of food making 7,803 meals possible. It will be a huge help for individuals and agencies that receive the benefit of that impressive organization.

This weekend we celebrate the Feast of All Saints. The purpose of the day is to recognize all the members of the kingdom of God, both living and dead. To honor the saints in our lives, we sing familiar hymns and remember by name those who have gone to the creator in the last year. In the evening, at 6:00 p.m., we will have an Service of Evensong featuring the music of Taizé. This service will be meditative in nature and ends with a soup supper. We hope to see you there!
