Welcome Back BBQ a Success! The “Welcome Back BBQ” on Sunday, September 16 was blessed with a spectacular blue sky and a perfect temperature. Many thanks to the organizers Isabel Philips and Cindy Pendergast, as well as others who helped with preparation, set-up, and clean-up!

Father Julio Rivera Visit on Sunday, September 30 Please join us this Sunday for a special visit from the rector of our sister parish in El Salvador. St. Mary’s and Santa Maria Virgen, located in a neighborhood outside the capital city of San Salvador, have a historic relationship dating back nearly 20 years. St. Mary’s previous rector, Larry Walton, was also a Central American missionary who served as rector of Santa Maria Virgen for several years in the 1990s. This Sunday will be the first time a rector from Santa Maria Virgen has visited St. Mary’s.

Women of St. Mary’s Welcoming Dinner – Tuesday October 9th at 6:30pm All women are invited to the Women of St. Mary’s Welcoming Dinner. Appetizers will be served at 6:30pm followed by a potluck supper and dessert. After dinner, fellow parishioner Jean Holtey will join us to discuss needlepoint.
